Your manufacturer's warranty only covers you for mechanical breakdown and will not cover you for cracked screens, liquid damage, accidental damage or theft. Even extended warranties generally don’t cover these events. Vodafone Care insurance gives you protection from all these events and more.
Yes, your new device must have been purchased directly from a manufacturer, network provider or retail store (high street or online). If you have a refurbished device it must have been purchased directly from a manufacturer, a network provider or an approved retailer.
You can pay monthly for your policy by adding it to your Vodafone monthly bill. Alternatively, you can also pay monthly via credit card.
If you need to make a claim, the easiest and quickest way to inform us and get your claim processed is by going to the Vodafone Care portal and submitting a claim. You will need to provide the date of the incident and details of what has happened to your device. If you claim is for theft you will need to report it to the police and have the report available.
You can also make a claim by calling 0818 92 77 11, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 08:00-18:00.
You can make up to 2 claims in a 12-month period, beginning from the day you purchase the insurance. Each claim that you make will be subject to an excess charge.
If you change your device please tell us so we can update your policy. Failure to do so could result in your claim being rejected. To do this please call us on 0818 92 77 11, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 08:00-18:00.
